Chacha Nut Handbell

The Chacha nut, from the Yellow Oleander plant, is yellow, ingot-shaped, and comparable in size to an almond.

Process: Each shell is carefully cleaned, bleached, hand-hollowed to remove the pulp, and drilled at the top.

Sound: Produces a crisp, sharp patter reminiscent of heavy rainfall.
