Juju Nut Handbell

The Juju nut, from the Duck Vine Seed (Entada genus), is dark red, disc-shaped, and comparable in size to a chess piece.

Process: Each nut is carefully cleaned, halved, hand-hollowed to remove the pulp, drilled at the top, and polished to a shine.

Sound: Produces a distinctive crackling "pop" akin to a campfire.
